This project started as an addition to the medical office building and surgery center for the former Grand Valley Health Plan, which TAG designed in 1997. The two story 64,000 square foot addition houses the medical offices and physical therapy practices for Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan (formerly Orthopaedic Associates of Grand Rapids, P.C.) and the Michigan Hand Center, P.C.  

Each medical suite incorporated custom interior design features in the furnishings and the ceilings. The rehabilitation suite, which focused on sports injuries, featured a half basketball court and a specialized tread mill.  A separate MRI building was constructed on the site to provide a waiting area prior to entering the mobile MRI unit.  TAG also was instrumental in master planning for future expansions on the site.
