Leighton Township Offices and Library

Wayland, MI | 2019

TAG has been working with Leighton Township since 1996.

At first, TAG designed a new, 13,000 square foot library.  Following that, TAG designed a small addition to the Library for a Children’s Activity Area and increased the entrance vestibule size.

In 2016, TAG designed the new Township Offices and Township Hall as an addition to the library building.  Master planning activities included planning for a fire station on the site which has not be constructed. The office building has a different brick color to differentiate the offices from the neighboring library.

Again, in 2019, Leighton Library once again was looking to add on to the library, increasing the reading room and adding a Maker Space for activities and community classes. TAG designed the addition to complement the existing building while providing fresh detailing.
