J & F Steel
is a steel processing facility. The Architectural Group, Inc.
completed the original 50,000 square foot building, and an
office addition in 2000. The support space includes 2700 square
feet of offices.

Spancrete Great Lakes outgrew
their adjacent location in Jenison they purchased the former
TSC Tractor Supply Company. The Architectural Group, Inc.
worked with the owner and their contractor to completely renovate
the building. The building is a show piece of products manufactured
by Spancrete and organized the sales, estimating, engineering,
detailing, erecting and accounting all in one facility.
Spancrete Great
Lakes is a manufacturer of precast concrete floor planks and
precast concrete wall panels for the building industry. When
Spancrete needed to expand their current floor plank and wall
panel operations they asked the Architectural Group, Inc.
along with it’s consulting engineers to work with Spancrete’s
process equipment engineer to design a sophisticated state
of the art manufacturing facility that doubled their output.
The Architectural Group, Inc. worked closely with the owners
and the process equipment manufacturer from Finland to design
the building around the equipment suppliers structural requirements,
product flow and waste management requirements.
